A New Year's Day polar bear plunge is an annual tradition shared by communities around the country and the world. The Corpus Christi Polar Bear Plunge is our local take on the tradition! Your registration includes a souvenir t-shirt and a drink from Fajitaville. 100% of your registration payment goes to

ALS TDI, an A-rated nonprofit working to find a cure for ALS. Over the first 5 years of this event, we have raised and donated approximately $50,000.

The top fund raising individual and top fund raising team will each win a prize package, including a night at the Hotel de Ville on North Beach. Once you register, have others support your cause. 100% of donations go to ALS TDI to help cure ALS. Also, anyone who donates or raises $20 beyond basic registration gets a polar bear hat/mitten set. Register

The Corpus Christi Roadrunners will offer a fun run beginning at 11:15 am. There's no extra charge to take part.

Corpus Christi has an ALS support group and a caregivers support group. These groups are here for not only for people living with ALS, but for the friends and family of those who have or had ALS. Learn more
